Content Guidelines for Subscription Bots
These guidelines explain what content is permitted when using BotSubscription as your Telegram subscription bot or Discord payment bot. We maintain a clear separation between content hosted on our platform and content you publish in your own communities.
Platform Content vs. Community Content
BotSubscription distinguishes between two types of content:
- Platform content — Content that appears within BotSubscription itself (checkout pages, welcome messages, plan descriptions, media uploads, etc.)
- Community content — Content you publish in your own Telegram channels/groups or Discord servers
Platform Content (Hosted by BotSubscription)
All media and visual content displayed on BotSubscription's platform must be safe for work (SFW). This primarily applies to:
- Uploaded images and media — Profile images, plan thumbnails, promotional graphics
- Media in welcome messages — Images, GIFs, or videos sent through BotSubscription
- Checkout page visuals — Any images displayed during the payment flow
- Media attachments — Files uploaded to BotSubscription for distribution
Text content (plan names, descriptions, messages) should remain appropriate and professional, but our primary concern is ensuring no explicit imagery or media is hosted on our platform.
Adult, NSFW, or explicit imagery is not permitted on any BotSubscription-hosted pages or features.
Community Content (Your Telegram/Discord)
We do not proactively monitor all community content. However, we may act on reports, legal notices, or policy violations—including for content connected to use of the Platform—and may remove content or suspend accounts. You are solely responsible for ensuring your community content complies with:
- Telegram's Terms of Service — telegram.org/tos
- Discord's Terms of Service — discord.com/terms
- Discord's Community Guidelines — discord.com/guidelines
- Applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Different platforms have different content policies. Some may permit adult content under specific conditions, while others prohibit it entirely. You are responsible for following each platform's rules.
Permitted Use Cases
BotSubscription welcomes creators from all industries, including those serving adult audiences. You may use our Telegram subscription bot and Discord payment bot to:
- Collect payments for adult content communities
- Manage memberships for NSFW Telegram channels or Discord servers
- Automate access control for age-restricted content
Important: If you operate an adult or age-restricted community, you must strictly comply with the requirements in our Acceptable Use Policy (Section 3.8). This includes maintaining a compliant age-verification mechanism, complying with platform age-gating rules, and ensuring your payment processor explicitly allows your specific content category.
However, the adult content itself must remain within your own communities — not on BotSubscription's platform.
Strictly Prohibited Content
The following content is never permitted, regardless of where it appears:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — Zero tolerance; reported to authorities
- Non-consensual intimate imagery — Including revenge porn and deepfakes
- Content promoting violence — Threats, terrorism, or incitement to harm
- Human trafficking or exploitation — Any form of modern slavery
- Illegal goods or services — Drugs, weapons, stolen data, etc.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, though we may request remediation where practical. We may also report violations to law enforcement where required.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Remove content that violates these guidelines
- Suspend or terminate accounts without notice
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
This list is non-exhaustive. We may take action against content or behavior that violates the spirit of these guidelines, even if not explicitly listed.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please email us at admin@botsubscription.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action. For legal or DSA notices, please follow the specific process outlined in our Terms of Service.
Updates
These guidelines may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice in accordance with the notice provisions in our Terms of Service. Non-material changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of BotSubscription accounts constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
